‘A Night at Ronnie Scott’s’
60th Anniversary Gala

On Wednesday 30th October 2019 in aid of the Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation, Ronnie Scott's is opening a bigger set of doors for one night only; putting on a once-in-a-lifetime gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall on our official 60th birthday.

‘A Night at Ronnie Scott’s’ will feature many of our regular performing artists, including Van Morrison, Imelda May, Kurt Elling, Madeline Bell, Nigel Kennedy playing Jimi Hendrix, Georgie Fame with the Blue Flames, The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, and many more. In addition to the musical entertainment, we will have the story of the club's (mostly) illustrious past told throughout the evening in words, pictures, and film.

I don't think we'd be surprised if a certain Mr Ronald Wood were to make an appearance if not otherwise engaged.

It is a condition of the Trust (or whatever it's called!) that runs the RAH that tickets to the gallery can only be sold on the day and in person.

Turn up early enough on the day..... and you'll get in for a great experience.

I've done it myself several times (Eric Clapton seasons), and told a friend about it when she was complaining about not getting access to the George Harrison Tribute ... and she flew from the USA to London and got a ticket and got in.

Go for it.

My favorite venue anywhere. Have been lucky enough to have seen 12 shows there. With the new sound system, wow.

The box office also sells 'returns'. I read an account years ago about someone in the queue for a Clapton Gallery ticket watched people in front of him decline an offer of a return because of the cost (fair 'nuff), but decided to accept.

He ended up dead centre front row stalls.
