In the 94 concert video from Giants Stadium, IIRC, Mick introduces himself. After introducing the band, he just says, "and I'm Mick".
In Tokyo 12-Mar-1995 too (Voodoo Lounge in Japan, Pos. 1h:13m).
...and when I saw them at the Rose Bowl, 21-Oct-1994.
"...my name is Mick and I'll be your singer for this evening "

It's very hard to know how to appreciate Mick coming back on stage so soon after his health problems, but a big intro by Keith or Ronnie at the right time on the first gig in Chicago would not go amiss.
We will have to wait and see what happens.
