I like the early Ronnie Years a lot(1978-82). The music might have lost part of its musical sharpness but it gained in fun and scenic attitude. If rock and roll sometimes has to have a trade off of rocking versus virtuosity I take it. On stage, the shit has to rock; don't pinkfloyded my rock and roll, baby!

There was an all around "fun" sound that came from that era. Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You act as a trio like the albums from The Golden Era.
