The fact that TM allows scalping on their site pisses me off, what is a Verified Reseller if not a scalper?
A Veriefied Reseller is a scalper.
Ticketbastard is a scalper too
We are even fools we're going to see the stones at those prices.. (yes me too, i go three times in 2019...) Though i got "relativity" cheap tickets...

Wait, so the 4 tix I bought, then had 2 people back out and since I was also to upgrade, I sold those for what I paid means as a verified resale I am a scalper?

When I logged in to Ticketmaster yesterday, hoping that tour tickets may have reached some level of sanity, there was a screen message saying that prices may vary depending on demand and resale ticlets ‘may’ be more than face value. Haven’t seen it again. But ... really? Hope Pauly hasn’t seen it, it would make him want to shout.

Here is Ticketmaster's explanation:

Are they (TM) suggesting, from their policy, that the Stones are allowing them to determine the prices? It is not clear to me.

I think in the case for Bruce S. and E. Street Band, he controls the max amount on ticket prices.

They wait for a few to sell at the high high high price. Then they put out a few more.

What I think is funny. Is they will put two blue seats right next to the resale seats and make them like $100 less.

I am watching Chicago #1 and Houston. They are playing games. Make it look like there is very few seats. Have those few at a high price. Then when they sell they release a couple more.

Even funnier is that they put better seats for less money than the ones a few rows behind.

So if a person starts looking they think....man...these are cheap compared to the other ones around!!

It should be against the law.

The Stones should step up and say no more like other bands do.

thumbs up Same thing is happening at the Miami concert. There you can actually have a so-called Platinum seat four side sections from front of stage.

Yes ...side sections and possibly obstructed view...and at the platinum price.

As far as I can tell....there is not any standard seats available at chicago and houston

I am entering every 1 hs to TM for the shows of NJ and CHI and I do not see many differences in the prices. The PITs continue at 1600 ea + fees ... I hope that at some point they will return to their real price, otherwise I will have to buy at level 100 and it is not my idea.

I saw pit in Chicago for just over $1000 today.

Pay attention to where the seats that are for sale are located. It is a moving target. Ever changing.

If I saw it at 865 + fees. The 1600s were from NJ. Equal 1000 for the PIT for me is much with a dollar to 40 in Argentina it is almost impossible to buy. But I will continue praying that they will continue to fall in price and be able to buy!

Cleared cookies and then went back to Chicago

Section 140 Row 3 and Section 107 row 1 great side lower lever seats available.

They were not there earlier today.

Waiting game.

One would be pleasantly surprised if they called TM same day of concert and heard what was available- It has happened to me on a couple of occasions.

exactly. This is the only way to "beat" the system. Wait till the day of the show and hope for the best...

preferably wait till the opening riff of the opening song. Ticket prices drop to half face-value at that point...run fast to your seat and you get 90% of the show for 50% of the price (make sure the "scalper" escorts you to the gate, if you are worried about fake tix).

Seems like a big risk if you are travelling, but if that's the case, plan a cool trip to wherever it is and just be open-minded about the Stones.

but....if you absolutely must see the Stones, well, then you're gonna pay.
