Pecman you said it all! The drum sound is awfull!

Another thing I don't understand about Dirty Work is why "Strictly Memphis" isn't on the album. A great song and 10.000 better than a lot of tracks that did made it!

It's the same with "Honest Man" from the Voodoo Lounge sessions. What a waste of such great songs!

There is only one thing wrong with that album, they should have left out "Back to zero" but add the complete "Key to the highway" as played by Ian Stewart.

A01 One hit
A02 Fight
A03 Harlem shuffle
A04 Hold back
A05 Too rude
B01 Winning ugly
B02 Dirty work
B03 Had it with you
B04 Sleep tonight
B05 Key to the highway

However, does anyone have the complete version of the song played by Stu?

Well, we'll never know... but all these blues tunes sound the same since they're going up the same progression. Maybe, if we'll ever discover the complete version, we'll find out what Stu was singing!

I love Dirty Work; it's the most under rated thing they've ever done. Sure, the drum sound is dated and overproduced, but the guitars are slamming. One Hit, Harlem Shuffle, Dirty Work and Sleep Tonight are all classic songs. Fight, Too Rude and Winning Ugly are pretty good as well. Had It With You, Hold Back and Back To Zero are listenable - good but not great. I've never understood why so many people don't like this album but like Undercover. Undercover and She Was Hot are the only two songs worth listening to on that one in my opinion.
