How about just Mick and Keith for a few songs?

I saw McCartney a week ago and he did a great but brief acoustic set with just him and his guitar. For me it was the highlight of the show. I was thinking that it would be intersting for just Mick and Keith to do a few acoustic songs per show (sort of like the B stage thing) without the rest of the band. Now I'm not complaining about setlists, but it seems that this could be something they never tried in concert before and I think the fans would enjoy it. Although I thought the concert in Hershey was great and there was not much room for improvement.

Perhaps. But definetly not in stadiums. They have to have(every artist does) some back-up there, I think.

they did You Gotta Move that way too, in 69; and at the CNIB gigs (79) they did Prodigal Son that way again.
i'd post some very sweet photos, but photobucket seems to be having spasms or something.

"What do you want - what?!"

While it is an interesting proposition, I think it would be rather degrading to Charlie and Ronnie.

Probably so, but more to Ronnie than Charlie. Watts is too cool to care about that kind of slight.

Still, I would love to see them like that...just like performing "As Tears Go By" on the Ed Sullivan show in '65.

#......Go ahead....Bite the Big Apple....Don't mind the Maggots.....Uh Huh...#

Blondie or Lisa could secretly wave a tambourine to Play With Fire -

Then over to As Tears Go By. With Marianne as a guest.

Wont be degradin at all for Ron or Charlie; they also could need a loo break.

Maybe Keith would agree to do a solo song of Mick if it was a duet and he could do the duet vocal, like Joy or Dancing In the Streets. That would make the resulting live album pretty unique as well. In return, I'd like to hear Keith sing Eileen with the Stones.
Of course, I know it's unlikely, but the Eagles do it all the time.

Off topic; but Keith on vocals in Gimme Shelter
(has been done before)... That´s my secret wish...
(not a secret anymore)...
