1978 Some Girls review or comments

I am looking for something specific. In the original review from 1978 NME by Charles Shaar Murray he changed
"Black girls just wanna get @#$%& all night
I just don't have that much jam" to "Black girls just wanna get @#$%& all night but they rarely get the chance"
But I remember that either in a comment in NME or some other reviewer (Billboard, Rolling Stone as the most likely magazine) had a suggestion around the line "American girls want everything in the world
You can possibly imagine". It was something like"... all end up in the same bars".
Can anybody remember who and to exactly what?
