"On battery... Charlie Watts!" - Montreal'72.
Battery/batterie = drums in French.

Did Mick introduce Ronny in Stockholm 2017: "the gitarrist of IKEA"? I'm not sure.

I used to like the Love You Live / El Mocambo "Ronnie Wood is gay" but I'm pretty sure I can't like that one anymore. I'm also guessing that will be removed from future releases, so I'll have to find another favorite.

FFS! You cannot re-write history and you cannot judge 1970's humour by 21st century values. I must be a dinosaur, as I still find it funny.

FFS! The only people whining about the Mocambo introductions are you "boohoo, I am not allowed to think it's funny" guys. The Mocambo introductions are indeed funny. Don't worry, they will still be funny next year and in a 100 years. Nobody will take your laughs away. Do some yoga and calm down.

And yes, the double entendre of "Keith of course is completely straight" is the cherry on the cake.

Hamburg 2007:

After having introduced "Rocking Ronnie Wood", Mick said in German

"Wo ist der pinke Pullover, Ronnie?" (Where's the pink pullover, Ronnie?)

Ronnie had worn a chic pink pullover at dinner the night before the gig.

I still think the joke is a very clever one, with the double meaning of gay and straight. I think LeonidP misses that.

"And ole 'bums rush' Jagger here"...a beautiful double entendre retort by Ronnie. That whole banter sequence is classic.

btw. when was Jagger last introduced for the last time? I guess it must have been the last 2017 show (Paris III): Keith said: "Let's not forget, Mick Jagger!"
