Roky is quite obscure, but still great nonetheless! He was the singer and guitarist of the band The 13TH Floor Elevators who helped pioneer psychedelic rock. He also had a great solo career. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't heard of him to check him out. Here is a good start [youtu.be]

I've seen Roky a few times in his comeback, with the Explosives and his current band. His howl is one for the ages. It's not what it was, but it's formidable.

The Elevators were THE psychedelic band. Psychedelic Sounds and Easter Everywhere are essential listening.
