The Paris show was a brand new venue so I think that's why they experienced problems hopefully this show will be better.

Hello,

Can we get a seating plan of the Orange Velodrome showing these different categories? I have found one but it doesn't show all the categories mentioned here.

It's gonna be my first time in Europe coming from Quebec, Canada. I am wondering if the ''pelouse'' tickets at 78.50 Euros are located on the floor (pelouse means grass) at the back, far from the stage. I guess they are located where it says ''pelouse standing'' on this chart. Am I right?

Not the accurate plan, but similar
The GA pit starts a bit before the half of the pitch.

Check the pic here : Plan
It's the dark yellow zone on the bottom

Not the plan for Marseille, but it's the same everywhere

Didn't you see my post above with the picture ? ;-)

I'm still in two minds about attending after the UArena hat trick but since I already had a cheap cancellable room next to the Velodrome I went ahead and got a non cancellable return trip by train from Paris for a measly 23€...

The pit is probably going to be a nightmare to score again but before any potential last minute drops that worked well for the UArena, a Gold would do the job.

And? It seems to me that LQ was just saying that it was a challenge to score (pit) tickets when they dropped, not commenting on how the first show was organized?

Yes, the constant checking for the ticket drops! (the problems with access the pit is another story which I was able to overcome but some friends never got into the pit at all, despite having the right tickets)

It had to do with tickets from Ticketmaster looking different from the U Arena tickets.....and some interpretation of the "No Filter Pit" meaning not allowed into the Filter Pit! I was asked to leave once admitted - I refused.

A guess.
This is the AC/DC show in Marseille (2016).
You can see on the picture how large was the "pelouse or" (gold pitch), and the regular "pelouse" :

Looked about the same for McCartney in June 2015, let's hope that for the Stones it looks more like the UArena setup where GC was really close on the sides.

We don't know anything about GC size at the moment.
It was very big in Barcelona and much smaller in Paris.
Based on that we know nothing.

Thanks for the details on Barcelona 2017, so that was bad for GA (unlike the URanea shows) but just as good for GC (even though it was a large area) as you could get really close on the sides (right next to Pit) by arriving early.

That's a nice and detailed floorplan, for what venue is that for ?

Where are the toilets? I guess if you have to pee you're out of luck.

They were in GA in the back, also there were toilets in space between 1st and 2nd ring on the sides. People from GC or pit could use them.

A stadium sized indoor arena.
Amsterdam and Stockholm GC were small too.
The size of GC only depends on promotors greed
