Saw Bachman/Turner two nights ago at SeaWorld in Orlando. They we're very tight and some of the songs we're quite memorable. Definitely recommend seeing them if they come near you. Randy just recorded a bunch of George Harrison songs and its being released in a few weeks, and then they go on tour.
1. Roll On Down the Highway- great opener, great song
2. Rock is my life, this is my song
3. Not Fragile - Starts this LP with one of the strongest Bass Drum Rhythm opening pieces and its stronger live. Fred's voice is strong. Met Brent, the back up guitar player at the hotel pool the following day and he told some cool stories about how Randy and Fred are treated like such icons by other musicians they meet- said when Metallica met Fred they said he was one of the best bass players and Springsteen backed them up at the Invictus closing ceremony and was also cool with them
4. Shakin all over - Randy said they recorded this before they had a name for the band and the record company said we have to release it so were just gonna say "Guess Who" on the record.
5-8 BTO songs Hold Back the Water, Hey You, Blue Collar, Stayed Awake All night
0. American Woman- one of the classic rock songs in history, great to see live, strong
10-12. Looking out for #1, Four Wheel Drive, I'm in Love BTO covers
13. No Time - Very cool to hear this one live
14-16. You Ain't seen nothing yet, Let it Ride and Takin care of business - great three song closing numbers
Randy's son Tal Bachman played back up guitar and piano and he had a #1 Billboard hit in 1999 called "She's so High". Brent Howard Knudsen was the other guitarist.

I paid $19 to sit in row 3, but paid like $100+ to get in to sea world. They play the US in the summer, no dates announced yet

Do they still perform with 2 bass players like they did when I saw them a few years back?

Three guitars and Fred on Bass, why have two when you have Fred Turner?
I put a clip of the opening of Not Fragile on my twitter @JJFlashGasGas it was really impressive sounding

That would be my thought, but when I saw them a few years back, they had Fred and some other guy both playing bass.

I think Fred only plays some shows so maybe thats why 2 bass players.
It will be interesting to hear Bachman's new LP of George Harrison songs coming out in a week.
His radio show has been going strong in Canada for 13 years, recorded from his home studio playing selections from his vinyl collection.
He son Tal plays in his new band and had a #1 hit with "She's so High"
