Well anyone that saw the recent MSG, Giants, and Albany shows that thinks Ronnie should depart the Stones is in my humble opinion a complete and utter @#$%^^& idiot. What a dumb thread ? Stop being an armchair critic and get off your fat #$#%^^& arse and go see some shows.
A close friend saw Mick Taylor in Kington, Ontario recently. His set we very blues based and he play mostly slide. Well Mick Jagger can play slide?! I doubt, 30 years later he can rip the leads like he did in the early 70's. He apparently did not at that show.
Mick and Keith need Ronnie. Ronnie is the sizzle on the steak. He has a great outlook and is best suited to The Stones which is why they called for him in 1970, but did not get him till 1975.
The virtuoso players have came and went (except maybe Angus)but rock and roll is not about finger speed, it about feel. Ronnie has it. Mick and Keith know it.
Mick and Keith try to play it tough and cool with Ronnie because they are scared since they know it's over without him.
Any other guitarist would not have lasted 5 years having to put up with Mick and Keith's bs. Ronnie's deserves more praise and MUCH LESS criticism!

Did Bill Wyman really go out and score junk for Keith ?? Somehow I doubt that.
To everyone who says Ronnie could never get kicked out of the band: if Brian Jones can get kicked out, so can Ronnie. Brian Jones started the damn band!
