Singer with a microphone
Other musicians without amplification
Once and for all...
How this thing work? They play the prerecorded song, but having erase the singer's part only, so he can sing live while the other are mimicking ?

Wait... Guitars have jack cable, but no visible amplifiers, and the drummer has no microphone, and you can hear horn section you don't see..

Yeap, thanks..
These kind of aired song fall in two categories..
- prepared backing track using the official version of the song
- prepared backing track using an alternative, unreleased version of the song, especially recorded for that occasion, which a bit more honest,to my taste

Thanks Cristiano!
Found a better sounding one as a takeout from the let it bleed sessions, but Youtube won't let me download it.

About the alternate 2nd verse...

Everyone is born naked.

But who in the world or Paris would assume that he'll be naked on the day he will die?

Not necessarily recorded for the occasion.

Most likely backing tracks from the recorded version, or an earlier version. This HTW sound very much like the music behind the single guitar version outtake.

The David Frost SFTD from 68 also has a live vocal over a mostly similar backing track, except the electric guitar solo at the end is completely different.
