Barcelona Spain travel and show info - The Rolling Stones No Filter Tour 2017

Show start is expected to be around 21:00 CET (Central European Time), i.e. 9pm, which is 8pm UK time, 3pm EST US East Coast, 12 noon PST US West Coast etc.

Have fun in Barcelona!

Some advice regarding getting to and from the Olympic Stadium: I've been there for U2 this summer. It's a fantastic place to see a band, I think. The whole Olympic Site is great.

Advice 1 reg. Floor Tickets/ Pista: If you've reached the stadium, it's still a long walk to the floor entrance, as you can see on the map above. It's maybe 20 minutes, maybe even longer if it's crowded.

Advice 2 inside the stadium: At the U2 concert, the ground of the floor was covered with carpet, which is very comfortable and allows you to relax before the show. As the stadium is quite small, I think all of you will get a good sight of the stage and the band. We got great spots walking to the far left and right of the stage, please try to go there. It might get narrow at the bar area, but once you have crossed that you might be rewarded with a lot of space and a very good spot (depending on the layout of course).

Advice 2 after the concert: I've been to quite a few shows at the Palau St. Jordi and the Olypmic stadium, getting back home has always been at bit of a hassle, as the Funicular de Montjuic won't be operating after the show.

The best solution for me is walking to the Placa Espana via the park that surrounds the National Museum. Then we took a bus back to the Placa Catalunya.
If you can get a taxi - take it, taxis are cheap and comfortable.

I whish you all the best of times tonight. I have very fond memories of the Montjuic and the Catalunyan crowd and those very nice people responsible for entrance and drinks and security at the concerts there. Give my regards to them!

I've heard of the band, but this was the first I've heard their music. Obviously very much Chuck Berry-influenced. As for the young woman, even if I were single and her age, I am much more likely to respond sexually to an intelligent woman I can hold a conversation with than an exotic dancer. I may be in the minority here, I realize but I am drawn to women who want to be treated seriously as a person and not to those who equate self-worth with their ability to make men pant like dogs in heat. I see that young lady and think she performs her rehearsed movements well, but were I with her, I would feel like she was going through the motions and I would just be another faceless person in her life as she would be in mine. That makes me feel bad for her rather than lust for her. I'll take the "partner in crime" any day. The partnership is everything. The rest of it fades over time.

Now that I've brought the mood down by being honest (can you tell I have daughters?), I hope everyone has a great time with the Stones and their talented opening act. I look forward to the reviews and the clips.
