With no north American tour this year and no shows in Toronto for quite some time, do you think the stones will ever play Toronto again?

It would just bring up old news and Mick and Keith would probably not want to go through that.

They played Toronto plenty of times from Steel Wheels on. If it was going to be too painful, it would've been that way in 1989.

Forget Toronto, how about coming back out west to Vancouver (actually all of Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest).

They played out west in Nevada and California in 2016, no eastern dates.

Didn't one of keith's daughters strongly imply while flying to the last vegas show that it was to be the last in North America? Does anyone think there's going to be NA shows after Europe 17 and UK 18?

They've played Toronto more recently than they've played MSG. They played Toronto in 2013, same as they played a ton of places then that haven't gotten a show since.

I stand corrected.

They played Toronto and Oshawa ca. 25-28 x since 1972. There are very few other places where they played that often. They spent months there for rehearsals since 1994. The latest shows are only four years ago. Isn't that enough?

Nevertheless I think there will be one more North America leg at least, probably incl. Toronto.

They have played numerous times including club shows in Toronto. These days they tour every year so they don't need to take residence in Toronto for weeks rehearsing a whole new tour. They did SarsStock during the European Tour 2003, flying out of Europe for one performance in Toronto, then back for the rest of the tour in Europe, so I would say that all in all, Toronto has got more of the Stones than most other cities in the world.

Then the next question is, will the Stones ever play any specific city again? May be, may be, but as the year go by, like I have said since 2012, this might be the last time, for any city in the world.

I was there for the concert from the Netherlands..... but came back in April to see the show.
2006 (not Toronto) Hawaii I was there for the show, but they canceled: Mick >> laryngitis, but they played instead in Los Angeles on the very same day!!! That pissed me off!!

I don't know, I never saw anything about one of Keith's daughters implying such a thing and the second part, if there are to be NA shows it would seem that 2018 is going to be it because after that it looks like they're going to stop.

bigger question is will the new barbarians ever play toronto again? oshawa?!

I thought it was Bob Craft, owner of the NEw England patriots who said his private show would be their final show ever in North America. Never heard anything about Keith's daughter saying anything. I think it really all depends on their health. Personally, I haven't seen them since Boston 2013 and I was bummed after the second show there. I had the feeling after those shows that I would never see them again. I'm hoping I'm wrong and they return to the USA for some shows next year.

They played Buffalo two years ago. Just hour and half away from Toronto.

If there is ever another North American tour,they should consider the Pacific Northwestern area of the country. Also Denver,Sacramento,New York City MSG,maybe Hartford. All of the other usual areas have been covered .... unless they want to try some new places. No concert by the Stones in Cincinnati since 1989 !! ( or before that ?? )

Hartford would be a DREAM, but I seriously doubt it. It was cool enough when they played East Hartford in 2005...that was easy to get to and was the last time I saw them.

Last show in Cincinnati was in '94... Hoping they do a return someday like they did in Indianapolis in 2015, but time is running short!
