A Bigger Bang - on Vinyl....
Date: September 6, 2005 16:31

Has anyone got the album on vinyl yet? I went to Virgin Megastore at Piccadilly Circus and they had sold out, so I asked them how many copies they ordered and I was told 2!!!! Can you believe it!!

I think the booklet with the CD lacks information and is very poor in its design and looks like it was rushed together with very little thought....

You can order it on rs.com. This might be more expensive, but you will at least reeive your copy

They must have sent the underassistantwestcoastpromotionman to deliver the 2 copys by foot.

Yes that black little CD booklet is also hard to read, tiny letters and not so fine printed.

I've seen the vinyl. It's £20 btw. I'll get one - but it doesn't play in the car!

The vinyl cover is far better. The CD design is based on the album in as much as the vinyl version has four sides with the groups of four tracks on each side as per CD sleeve notes.

Can't remember where all the lyrics and track personnel were listed though. Separate insert?

Hi!

Totally agree, the CD package is lame and shitty.
The pseudo-modern small characters without some space for the titles, the black paper where you can see every finger it ever touched. Hard to read, looks like "quick and dirty".

After I first saw the cover foto I expected much more. The fotos are awesome I think. But the rest is crap.

There are some biggest mistakes in there, especially in the lyrics of "TPIE": There's a line printed with "This Place is empty WITH you", "you have learn't" aso.

They can do much better!

course it does - you just need a flatbed truck with PA & DJ and not more than 10Km/h

If you're in the UK try Badlands as they were selling the vinyl.

Great booklet; it fits perfectly with the no nonsense sound of the album >

'no icing, leave the candles off...'
