Yeah, I was. This is the first live version after Mocambo, and here, Mick's singing is superb.

Always my favorite of this song.

I've got no favorite live version. The studio version with the stunning solo by Wayne Perkins is unmatched.

El Mocambo is just average, I prefer most of the more recent versions in 2013-14. Some of those versions are breathtaking and hauntingly beautiful.

Which one "of the most recent versions in 2013-14" is the best.

That's all you had to do was come up with one that is the best.

As always with the Stones it´s not easy to pick the best one, but I do think that Zurich 2014 is extraordinary. Check out the very good sounding bootleg.

Yep. I was there too. If I remember well, Ronnie played a great solo on that one.

They get it right every time. They could play it at every concert and it wouldn't bother me at all. But maybe then the magic disappears.
Love the Mocambo version too, great groove.

Cirkus Stockholm 2003 and Buenos Aires 2006 (Ronnie's solo, one of his BEST!)

I love the studio version, but Perth #1 14 On Fire was a real treat for me as I love the song!

Agreed. The only decent version because it wasn't totally ruined by Mick's falsetto voice. I don't know why he insists on that for this song.
