I like parts of Anti, the two stand out tracks for me being 'Consideration' and 'Work'.

One of my favourite albums of the year is Skepta's Mercury Prize winning Konnichiwa. Honest, real and uncomprimising, it struck a chord, certainly in the UK at least. It's been a long time since I heard a song so quintessentially Londonesque as 'Shutdown'.

New BBC Poll of Polls (based on critics reviews).
1. Beyonce: Lemonade
2. David Bowie:Blackstar

RS not in the top 20 list.

I forgot to mention this one by Nathaniel Rateliff & Night Sweats. All Stonesfans should check them out; great fun, great music, and yes - pretty good dancing too.

ONE TRULY remarkable album, followed by 4 GREAT records:

Floating Harmonies - Junius Meyvant - FAR ahead of....
Blue & Lonesome - The Stones
Glassellland - Jordie Lane & The Sleepers
Hole in Your Pocket - The Panics
All the Bridges - Liz Stringer

Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Kendrick, Kanye - ALL rubbish

Wanted to LOVE Bowie, Cohen - but only LIKED them...a bit in Bowie's case, a bit more in Cohen's. If they weren't therir 'swan song' albums I sincerely doubt they'd be held in such high regard...

Kings of Leon - Walls - nup, muddy production BUT for one OUTSTANDING song, "Conversation Piece", probably my favourite single song of the year.

Schmilco - Wilco. One of my fave bands, this is my least satisfying album of theirs. Too many half baked, half done tunes. Almost demos.
