...agree, seen him in his later years with Robin Trower, am familiar with his phantastic work with Cream, also Bruce, West and Laing. Tough guy, good man. He once said: "bass players are the true arictocrats of the rock business". For him, that certainly rings true. - Even with a second liver, he was still kicking ass. RIP Jack (and to put up with Ginger Baker for a while, you have to be a ripper...)

One of my absolute favourites both with Cream and his solo stuff. Looking forward to the charity concert in honour of him tomorrow night at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
