Do you read other Stones sites as well? And what do you think about them? Personally, I tend to be very loyal to this site. Very seldom I read Shidoobee. The new one EOMS was exciting for a while but seems to lack a variety of posters now. A handfull of readers, apparently, doing all the work. Nice graphics and a professionally done site though. Stonesvikings I don't get at all. People seem to post once every second year there. Which are your thoughts about the other Stones sites?

Well, I've looked st The Flintsones fan club...there's a poll vote for who is more attractive, Wilma or Betty, and a heated debate on whether or not Barney is a virgin. Plus lots of vintage lunch boxes for sale or trade.
As for The Rolling Stones, I don't go anywhere else...IORR has everything I need and want.

There were some nice people on shidoobee but also a large number of trolls pushing a very disagreeable political agenda. Like that BV doesn't let that happen here.

So, The Flintstones and IORR are the only Rolling Stones sites IORR members visits? I guess I was expecting a little more diversity there. But little did I know.
But in a way it makes sense and makes my signature even more adequate...

There used to be a lot more "sites"; fansites. Almost all of them are gone now. But the difference is interactive. Far as interactive goes I only go to IORR and RO. But RO is also different now; but still very cool. I have never been able to identify with Stonesvikings. EDIT:Thousand apologies to the Vikings:I meant to say 'never able to identify with Shidoobee.
But there are several information based Stones places to visit that are indispensable. Hope they never go away.

Yes, and as far as info sites Ms. sssoul has Nico and Ian's site that are absolute musts. Then I personally LOVE ChrisM's place called 'Revelations of Rolling Stones', and Harold Colson's 'Through the Frames Brightly'.
There used to be a site (and I can't quite recall the name) by a Scandinavian fan, who had a page/chapter for each album. There was much factual info, and a lot of very questionable editorials

I haven't been much at Shidoobee lately. But I still receive the messages from the Undercover list. I like IORR best!

I have tried EOMS which is well designed but with now very few posters. Never got into shidoobee and the other sites have very infrequent posts. I use backstreets for Bruce when in the mood for a butch bloke.

I've recently gotten involved with The Cure Community fan forum. Very good site & incredibly nice people involved. One way similar to IORR is it is very international. After finally seeing the Cure after trying for 25 years, I've become pretty passionate about them. Really enjoy their music & live they were way beyond high expectations.

www.stonessessions.com is the site by Martin Elliott. He updates and makes corrections there to his great book The Complete Recording Sessions 1962-2012.
