Fans of Arthur Lee and Love may be interested to note that his backing band Baby Lemonade and original Love guitarist Johnny Echols are plaving in the UK next month - dates here [www.love-revisited.com]

From what I have seen on YouTube it looks like they concentrate on the first three Elektra albums, including the extraordinary Forever Changes. Johnny sang with Arthur on some early songs so I have high hopes. It is sad that Arthur and Bryan are no longer with us, but this looks like the next best thing. Certainly in his prime Echols was a very inventive and tasty guitarist, the first person I saw playing a double neck.

The London gig is at The Jazz Cafe and is a relatively reasonable £18. I know a couple of us are going, more welcome !
