From todays "Sun" Newspaper (U.K):-

Mick Jagger has fallen out with Keith Richards, after his pal's dig about the singer having a tiny todger.
Their bust-up has soured the start of their world tour, which kicked off in Boston U.S.
They won't speak to each other and the atmosphere is said to be "frostier than the Arctic Circle".
The Sun revealed on Tuesday that Keith had embarrased his old pal by saying:
"his co$k's on the end of his nose.And a very small one at that.Big balls, small co$k".
Jagger who loves his reputation as a legendary lover, saw the story and hit the roof. He stormed over to Keith's room at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Boston for a row just hours before they were due on stage for the tour's second gig.
The pair who have been friends since 1961, travelled separately to the venue.
And they stayed in their dressing rooms until showtime.
A tour insider revealed:- "Mick was fuming when he saw The Sun's story about his manhood.He practically ran over to Keith's suite and had a stand-up arguement."
"Mick was offended and took the remarks personally.Keith just found it really funny.Mick went off in a huff and refused to come out of his room. by the time they arrived at the venue the atmosphere backstage was horrible.It was frostier than The Arctic Circle".
The duo played an electrifying set-but barely looked at each other throughout.

The source added:- "Mick turned in a superb performance.But he's fuming at keith and they have still not patched things up."

Relations between Mick and Keith- which are often strained- have been good.

Keith had 25 sexy female dancers axed from the tour- because he would not look so good on stage.

I heard the part about the dansers is true. They wanted to bring all those chicas out during HTW. They did a dress rehearsal; then Keith nixed it. Said he wouldn't go on if they would be up there too. Jagger was pissed off. he had supposely just comefrom the ladies drssing room. They wasted $100,000.
This was in the news today. Not the Sun.

Well they always travel seperately to the venue so this maybe the only thing that is true about the article. Didn't people mention something in the revieuws of the second show that they bumbed into each other on the b-stage and that Mick said something like "watch it now Keith"?

Who have been in a Rock band,knows that after a while its worst then any wedding because you have to deal not only one person( wife , husband) but with all the members. Just take a look about bands who been for around for a while ( The Who, Led Zep, Red Hot C& Peppers ,just finished reading the book from Anthony kiedis Scar tissue, and are here less longer then the Stones and they travel apart from each other. It got some refence to the Stones in his book)So it doesn t suprise me that once in a while they have their rows.look for exemple here on this forum, people who doesn t know each other sometimes have their uggly disagraments. imagime then if they had the pressure of pleasing billlions of fans with new stuff and then hit the road around the world for a year with the same guys.aint easy!! the secret relies, I think on their love for the music and some gipsy way of being by travelling around the world all the time

This is one of the funniest things I have read! I can just imagine it being true. (Although the bit about relationships still being frosty probably isn't - I imagine Mick doesn't take things that seriously!)

The Sun is a typical British tabloid and therefore only reports on this sort of stuff, rather than anything actually important! However, it is the UKs biggest selling newspaper - therefore this is what the British public want!

By the way, the earlier comment about how the Sun see themselves is very acurate. 90% of their headlines are about how such and such an investigation has begun after The Sun tipped off such and such... If you read the Sun then you would have a very warped take on life.

the Daily Express also mentioned it today. It was basically because he thought it was a tacky idea and diddnt want them on his stage.

Sounds a lot more reasonable than Keith being suddenly worried about vanity at this stage in his life, doesnt it?

Exactly right...it was done in '81, Jerry Hall was one of the dancers as well, it's documented on the Let's Spend The Night Together movie.

As for their friendship....Mick and Keith have known each other since they were 4 and 5 yrs old...bet alot of people don't have frienships that have endured that many years. Like it or not..Mick can NEVER divorce Keith.
