Hey cats in Stones - Setlist bank...
Posted by: Baboon Bro ()
Date: August 25, 2005 02:39

...Take a look at this!

The past evening discussions, mainly about the 60´s music, as well as
on setlists and must-play-stuff, did inspire myself to this.

Let´s post - maximum - one song each, one a day...
At least till the US led of the tour is over.

If feels like the boys will need such a "setlist bank".

My primarily aim is at hidden or underrated gems,
so that the Glimmer Twins may dive and pluck them up for
ABB-tour.

I Will not start with "On With The Show", cause then
I will piss everybody off smiling smiley ...

But - here´s my starter... "Connection"; with the way Winos played it
as a general direction. Can´t say who´d be singing, maybe Keith.

Cool Post Bamboon!

Yeah....The Wino's did Rock out "Connection", better then the Stones ever did in my humble opinion.

But they have played this before,

What about "Blue Turns To Grey'?

That would rock!

Stretch it out make it this tour's tear-jerker like they did w/ "That's How Storeng My Love Is" on the Licks tour

"Well my heavy throbbers itchin' just to lay a solid rhythm down"

Funny you should mention On With The Show as my band busked throught it
the other night at rehearsal. When you do it fast and punky, it sort of works
in a Ramones/Jam sort of way...sort of.
As for your list, i'll pick Summer Romance.

Wonderful suggestions...
Sorry copsnrobbers for nickin the idea.
But please, do keep on pushin the thread -
Thank you for the summary.

As my intention was one suggestion a user and day,
I can´t post Tell Me yet - but I do when its time.
Next time I can post songs here would be Friday.

The setlist gives reminiscence of Metamorphosis, like
a Metamorphosis II...

HELLO, KEITH! MICKEY! CHARLIE! RON! AND DARRYL! CHUCKIE!

Todays choice from me is "I´m Going Down".
Please, play it in Hartford tonight!

Let me remind ya of my earlier suggestions; "Tell Me", and´
"Connection" a la Winos.

(A little late to note, but Rockman´s first mentioning of Come On
buzzed by me, thoiught he was talking in imperative...).

...Copsnrobbers; can you hang in keepin on suummarizing,
I´m off to wok in some minutes... ?

I listened to Mercy, Mercy the other day and thought Ohh this one would nice.
Great guitars and Mick's on the prowl on the lyrics. Great singing!
Should in fact be a great one to have on the setlist!

Been Stoned since 1964 and still am!
