Actually I included that (SAF) to rs.com! Since the RS did such a rippingly nice version & KR has a cool lead vocal turn on the Hubert Sumlin album

Hello all, I'm new here...I'm so excited for this tour and I really hope they mix it up a bit more...especially with the more "popular" songs.
I'm 21 years old and a big fan of some of their later material since I was around when those albums came out. My ideal setlist would look something like...
1.Start Me Up
2.Rough Justice
3.Under My Thumb
4.Bitch/You Got Me Rocking
5.(New Song)
6.Stray Cat Blues
7.Angie ( i named my late dog after this song)
8.Beast Of Burden/Waiting On A Friend
9.Monkey Man/Love Is Strong
10.Miss You
11.(new keith song)
12.Before They Make Me Run
13.Star Star/Rip This Joint (b-stage)
14.Saint Of Me (b-stage)
15.Brown Sugar (b-stage)
16.Gimme Shelter
17.Oh No Not You Again
18.Some Girls
19.Can't You Hear Me Knocking
20.Street Fighting Man
21.Streets of Love (encore)
22.Jumping Jack Flash (encore)

i love saint of me and love is strong. i'm sure they won't play them but I'd freak if they did. I've only seen them once before and that was in columbus on the Licks Tour and they didn't play either. Anybody Seen My Baby or Tumbling Dice would be sweet too. I'd be happy if the DIDN'T play Honky Tonk Women and Happy. I like those songs, i just wish they'd move them over for some variations.

This is too similar to the Licks set list minus Under My Thumb & the new songs. Please don't send this in.It would be like watching a re-run.

i don't see how that's similar to the Licks setlist at all. They didn't play Beast of Burden at any arena shows really, nor Saint of Me or Love is strong or Stray Cat Blues or Some Girls that much. Yeah there are a lot of standard songs, but there's a lot that I left off. I was just being realistic and trying to have fun, that's all. jeez.

jumpingjackgreg, good to see youre aboard! I turned on a couple of 20-something friends last tour (not born when Some Girls came out - jesus!) and my roomate (now 32) on the '97 & '99 tours. If you've never seen them, or just once, I can perfectly understand wanting to hear some of the all time classics. I think Thief's point might be that they'll invariably play some of the biggest hits (Brown Sugar, JJF, Satisfaction, Start Me Up) anyway.
