Best thing about this group of songs to vote on is it will be different in Dallas. I hope anyway.
Because this guy named Bob Dylan grew up in Minnesota and went to college at the University of Minnesota, which happens to be hosting a concert tonight.
I never really got why they play Live With Me so much. I agree not exciting at all and never has been to me anway
Maybe Tim will play the solo?

The Stones have played plenty of arenas where it's illegal to smoke indoors and Keef always has one on the go on that little table behind Charlie...
Like that's going to be enforced...
Looks good on paper but not only will Keith and Ronnie both be smoking tonight, a good portion of the audience will have special "cigarettes" prepared for the occasion.
I do notice they seem pretty serious about no non-alcoholic beverages being sold without their permission since they have an exclusive contract with Coca-Cola. I would have thought Minnesota was more of a Mt. Dew kind of place.
Anyway that contract was pretty cool to browse, thanks for the post mnewmann505.

These pics were sent to me by cmc (we talked yesterday and he kindly asked me to post some of his pics here, which I'm doing now - he will take some more pics during the concert). It's raining in Minneapolis right now. I hope the rain stops when it's show time.

When Bitch isn't in the set they will probably play a different SF-song instead of it. I hope Sway!

Why do I keep holding out hope that the song vote will somehow be interesting?
Get Off My Cloud - played constantly over the past few years
Bitch - Sticky Fingers song, should be in the set and not a fan vote option
Live With Me - its fine, but not particularly exciting
Like A Rolling Stone - out of all the covers, why not a blue or classic rocknroll tune? what happened to their love of Muddy Waters tunes??

Quick question for anyone who's been to a show. If my friend bought a floor ticket in a different section then us, would be he able to come stand by us? We are on the Aisle so that wouldn't be an issue as there isn't a seat.

The University of Minnesota will send the Rolling Stones' promoter an invoice for more than $500,000 for Wednesday night's show at TCF Bank Stadium, according to a contract released under Minnesota public records law.
Want to rent the Minneapolis on-campus football stadium for a concert? That's $125,000.
Preparing the stadium, staffing it, security and clean-up? That's another $314,000 that Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour promoter AEG Live will pay, including $60,000 for University of Minnesota Police Department staffing. (See page 17 of the contract below for an itemized break-down.)
Each of the tickets (capped at 44,051) also carries a $2 facility use fee.
In addition, the university took in half the revenue from suite sales, and got 100 free tickets plus another 1,500 to buy and resell at face value to athletic-department donors.
The first page of the contract reminds AEG Live that no one — not even Keith Richards — is allowed to smoke cigarettes in the stadium.
The last Rolling Stones performance in the Twin Cities was at St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center in 2005. They're now touring North America on their Zip Code Tour.

Seems the number of songs and time played are all pretty comparable at the different venues.. but seeing the curfew time of 11:30 posted for this venue got me wondering... It was midnight at Petco... wonder if it ever becomes a factor?
