OT: bootlegging

I am not interested to learn how to bootleg concerts, but I am curious as to know how people get equipment into concerts to record them. With the way security is at shows, it amazes me how concerts are still able to be captured. How does this work?

Some of it is just plain luck. You might get padded down and get your gear confiscated and the guy right next to you walks in without a hand touching him. You gotta have tact.

With minidisc players being so small you just stick it in your crotch and security can only feel around the area where it is otherwise the search becomes assault.

Other ways: you get them from one of the soundguys.
Nowadays seems like there is no more need. The bands are going to bootleg themselves. And sell them to you. I only wonder why it took them so long to come upo with this idea.

the *idea* i'm sure hasn't taken them any time at all;
i reckon achieving a deal with ABKCO is the tricky part.
