Tickets for the Australian tour

Not sure if this is a stupid question or not (and possibly should check with Ticketek and Ticketmaster not xt week. Have tickets for the last 5 gigs, for Melbourne, Hanging Rock and Sydney, have computer printed tickets for the original dates and for the last two also have parking tickets for those gigs, anyone know whether I have to reprint for new dates, I'm sort of guessing I actually need to buy a new ticket for the Sydney gig? Can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty certain that the FAQs on the ticketing sites make it clear that tickets for the original dates are valid on the new dates.

Why would you need to buy a ticket for Sydney, but not Melbourne etc. Perhaps you meant to write "Hunter Valley". In that case, if you find out how to get a ticket to Hunter Valley without buying it, please share it here!

Sigh.

I actually dropped into my local Ticketek today, all is good, tickets with original dates are good. In terms of the Sydney Gig, I meant car parking, so looking forward to their last 5 shows :-)

Having decided to visit Australia at relatively short notice back in July, I realised we could include some 4 Nations Rugby for my wife and of course 3 Stones shows mainly for me. With Melbourne and Sydney as our bases, a hunt for tickets began;

Most shows appeared fairly sold out, with only really poor seats coming up, but We managed to get a pair of great A block seats for Hanging Rock off TM with coach transfer.Printed tickets at home, no problem.The Arena shows proved harder,especially Melbourne which showed "allocation exhausted" in all sections.
As Jo wasn't bothered about attending all 3 or the pit,I decided to check the secondary market for a single GA ticket .Viagogo had about 30 from £700 up to £5000 ! I went for it , paid their extortionate fees and then and only then got a confirmation email informing me that they typically send tickets out 3 days before events...... I am travelling for a week before the show !

I contacted customer services who assured me that they would get it to me in good time and I thought no more about it.

With a lot of patience I scored a good pair of 3rd row tiered seats from Tiketek, right over the Tongue for the Sydney arena show so all was good.Also rather annoyingly pit packages dropped in at most shows last month , including Melbourne . I thought it was time to chase my ticket up. They wanted an alternate address, which I explained wasn't really practical as we we either travelling or staying in an apartment with no reception.....I'm not going to the other side of the world to wait in for the post !

Anyway, to cut this short. After 5 or 6 phone calls and several emails,with lots of reassurances that I'll get it delivered, they have now decided I can collect "near" the event , because "they have no control over when the seller decides to send tickets out" . I simply don't believe anything they are saying and have no doubt I'll be racking up an enormous mobile bill next week trying to confirm pick up place.........

These tickets have been in most peoples hands for weeks, if not months.Are they reselling them themselves? I seem to remember the BBC indicating so.................. UTTERLY USELESS BA*TARDS .

P.S. BV, feel free to remove if you think this will damage your site, but I only state the facts as I see them. If I get into the pit in Melbourne I'll say hello !
