One of my least favorite Stones songs of all time. For years I said "Sparks Will Fly" and "Brand New Car" were the turds of the VL album, but the latter has grown on me (as bad as the lyrics are, at least BNC has a classic Stones groove mixed with some killer horns. "Sparks", by contrast pretty much sums up why VL was not Mick's best moment as a lyricist, or Keith's finest moment as a rock and roller.

Worst of all is the fact that Sparks Will fly made the final album cut while the following didn't:

1.) Jump On Top Of Me
2.) So Young
3.) I'm Gonna Drive
4.) The Storm
5.) Honest Man
6.) Zip Mouth Angel
7.) You Got It Made
8.) Anything For You
9.) Another CR
10.) Ivy League
11.) Middle of the Sea
