Stones' onstage seats sure to give bidder Satisfaction

Who says You Can't Always Get What You Want?

One lucky Hub high-roller and 19 pals will sit onstage at Fenway Park when the Rolling Stones kick off their On Stage tour - so close to a strutting, sweating Mick Jagger, they'll need a shower!

Now, that's Satisfaction!

But it will cost ya. The good news? It's for charity.

At next week's Stars & Strikes celeb bowl-a-thon benefit for the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness & Sports, the Boston-based Charity Partners will offer up the 20-seat On Stage box for the Aug. 21 show.

Opening bid: $100,000. A hundred grand? Do they know It's Only Rock 'n' Roll????

``It's as much Stones-driven as event-driven,'' said Charity Partners poohbah Jord Poster, who is working on the band's behalf identifying local charities in tour cities.

Which means the band expects that the deep-pocketed philanthropists (without Hearts of Stone) who attend star-studded benefits like Stars & Strikes ``are always looking for an excuse to give more,'' he said.

Apparently, a lot more Jumpin' Jack Cash!

The up-close-and-personal primo package - only available at the June 16 event at Kings - also includes a backstage dinner prepared by a local celeb chef TBA. There's also access to the band's veddy, veddy VIP Lounge with open bar and sensational Stones swag, private security and, of course, access to the good bathrooms.

``There will also be a dedicated on-site concierge to make sure they are completely happy,'' he said, adding that a meet-and-greet with Mick, Keith, Ron and Charlie is possible.

``But it's not being promised,'' said Jord. ``However, there's reasonable hope since they'll be backstage in the private lounge.''

An identical package for the Stone's second show on Aug. 23 will also go on the block sometime soon, but Poster said the other local beneficiary hasn't been selected.

``The Governor's Council seemed a good fit with the initiatives the band is interested in helping,'' he said.

Soosie Lazenby, who chairs Gov. Mitt Romney's get-fit initiative, said she was bowled over by the band's offer.

``I'm so appreciative for the support we are getting for the event,'' she said. ``And this is a great opportunity to get our message out.''
