You can hear a lot of the HP sound in the Black Crowes. 30 Days = cool song.

Chris Robinson loves Humble Pie. They (the Crowes) sound a lot like them. Once they aded the Hammond it all came together.
IMO "Hot'n Nasty" is one of the greatest rocktunes ever written. I did not know that Steven Stills wrote it together with Marriott. (THis calls for a new link)

it was quite funny when Mac asked Chris if he'd bumped into Steve when he hung around Atlanta for a while in the late 70's. Chris reminded Mac that he was about 12 years old at that time...
