Any of the well-known warhorses. A surprise like NFA on the VL tour would be great. Still the perfect openers for me would be If you can't rock me or One hit to the body....but it won't happen!

Something from the 60's like 19th Nervous Breakdown or Get Off My Cloud would be cool.

Or Mother's Little Helper so Mick can come out and say "what a drag it is getting old." Then follow it with Oh, Not You Again.

Under My Thumb would be great!
Just think of it - Chuck would play the intro, and Keith&Ronnie could pose a bit!
Honestly, if they play it like in '81 it would be a great opener!

Chuck will play a 45 minute piano medley of Stones classics.
Than the Stones play Start Me Up, Oh No Not You Again and Brown Sugar.
For the encore Lisa and Blondie sing Gimme Shelter.
That's it.....

I heard they are opening with a remake from another band.

Apparently the opener is going to be a Pink Floyd number:

MONEY, it's a gas, gas, gas!

I thought JJF for Hartford on the No Security tour was great. Mick was
wearing Brian Jones style bubbble sunglasses, looked cool, real sleek
and sinewy without the Prince style waistcoat. Best thing was the version
sounded almost like '69 again. Real tight and short. It was great to
hear the soul of the song again. How about "Respectable"? might deflect
animosity over sitting in a $450 seat...

A nasty version of STRAY CAT to set the pace for a rock/blusey/sleazy/raw show. Not too fast, not too slow. Start on the curb then jump into the gutter.

Silver Train (if Ronnie has it together and can burn on the bottleneck)
or The Last Time.
HYSYMB would be good, too.
Let it Rock would be even better.
But (repeat like a mantra) "ain't gonna happen. Ain't gonna happen..."

A cover version of "Uncle @#$%&" from the Southpark TV Show. Chuck could plink like crazy.

I´m with Drake on Around & Around.
User Keefsarse will be spanked officially simultaneously at B-stage.
Seriously ONNYA will be so famous & wellknown at the time in late August so that it easily & perfecly could be synced as opening tune by then, mark my words & all messages read!

What about All Down The Line? Still fresh, not played too often, most people (even hard-core fans) recognize it.

If the new single is a Hit, and gets lots of airplay, why not opening with:

Oh No Not You Again???

I agree with marquees; why not?

...why not open with "Midnight Rambler", also?

"got to be worked on
don't have no bark nor bite..."
