one of the glimmers finest tracks ever of all time . such great lyrics .the stones at there best .dare i not mention beggars banquet ,one of there best best albums !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW opinions are personal, but for the life of me I do NOT understand how ANYONE can not just love this.

It is just a stunning song that the album somehow, yet inexorably, builds towards. You can feel it coming through all of side one and two... you know it (the album) is just GOING TO CLOSE like this - perfectly!

Superb arrangement, great playing, amazing production and lyrics that I just didn't see coming. Some say trite, I say, The Stones displaying social conscience? Who would have thought?

A Stone-cold classic.

The song's dripping with irony...it's not earnestly singing out on behalf of the the rag taggy people.
