I saw two shows in phila in 1975. Loved it.

1978 Philly was raw and Jagger had no voice but for me I loved the ragged raw, sloppy
rock and roll back then.

The 1981 Philadelphia shows were great. But I was on the field closer
to the stage. A little to the left. So it may not have had the best sound
if you were in the upper levels. The wind can play with the sound in that
old stadium.

Back then most people went to go for the party.. Get drunk and rock and roll.
we didn't just sit there like it was a opera. ..

1981 was the last of the real Rolling Stones tours.
Mick and Keith playing and singing like they had something to prove.

I liked the tours after 1989 but I missed Keith playing and singing
like he did in 1981. Mistakes and all Keith gave it his all back then.

Its The Rolling Stones.. 1969 , 1973 & 1981 were the best tours for the
Stones!

They were still a working band that played a ton of NEW tracks.

The good old days for most of us!

<<You can even see in LSTNT that the fans are bored and disappointed.>>

How can you possibly know how a stadium full of people are thinking and feeling by looking at them on a video screen?

You mean if there's not a riot going on then people aren't having a good time?

You also see in the opening scenes that when Jagger moves off center stage to the right to sing to the crowd off to the side that fans applaud enthusiastically as he moves closer. Also, look at how delighted fans are as he runs through the crowd singing during Let me Go.

This was still an era of sophistication when people actually listened to music. For a time, even at a Who show, they would sit quietly without moving and just listen, then applaud afterward.

I think you're just seeing boredom and disappointment in your mind.
