Yes, They posed together in 1967. When The Stones posed for the cover of TSMR, The Beatles got dressed up in their Sgt Pepper costumes and flew to New York and posed with The Stones. Then they all met in a hotel room with Bob Dylan and decided that they would all "go back to their roots" in 1968 when The Beatles got back from a planned trip to India. Mick wanted Keith to go with them but Keith said they should write a string of classics instead. "Why go to India to see that short guru when we can write a bunch of songs that we can perform live and will carry us into the next century?" inquired Keith. And the rest is history. All because they decided to pose together. True story.
