Unable to listen to more than 3 songs. It's the only album I have, I physically can't listen to.
I'd rather listen to 3CD-Deluxe versions of Metal Machine Music or the Pipes of Pan at Joujouka.

And I even have Jason Donovan and Army of Lovers albums in my collection.

Oh yes, I also possess a Jason Donovan album. Im not proud. And Lionel Richie. Argh.

I did use to have hundreds of LP's, starting in the mid-eighties, I replaced the majority of them with CD's. I DID USE TO OWN LOU REED'S METAL MACHINE MUSIC - and I remember playing it in my dorm room in 1979. So, although I do no longer own this masterpiece - does that count?

Yes indeed. It was big news for a time in the late 1980s. Some smut magazine had a photographic spread on the prostitute who Jimmy was fooling around with. Man, she was fugly.

The most painful to listen to is Dirty Work but it's so painful it must be some kind of achievement so it can't be the worst one though.

I too own Landing on Water, but I think Re*Ac*Tor might be worse. I own that too.
Ryan Adams "Easy Tiger" might be the most boring.
And, Primitive Cool is the the most disappointing.

Jimmy Swaggart-related on the cousin side: I did have an MCA album, entitled I Am What I Am by Jerry Lee Lewis, which I thought sucked.

Hmm... this is a tough one. Going through whats on my iPod, there are certainly plenty of albums there that I don't envisage ever intentionally listening too, again. I could probably list all the 'iffy' - well, they'd be considered that by the snobbish-types amongst us, here - artist and groups: I own everything by Destiny's Child and Beyoncé for instance. Actually, in the case of the latter, I even possess live, outtake's and unreleased recordings. I'm definitely a huge fan.

For many of us it's probably a bad album by a great artist. I've owned "Metal Machine Music" (on 8 track!) and "Pipes of Pan" and although I never listened to more than a few minutes at a time and not in the last couple of decades, there seems to have been some thought process and artistry to those and a statement other than cashing in. So I'll say either "The Beach Boys '85" (using Boy George's producer) or the execrable "Summer in Paradise."

Never owned "Two Virgins" btw.

Two the Hard Way with Cher and Greg Allman. But I do like their version of "You Really Got a Hold on Me."

I own both Landing on Water and Re-Act-Or and played both several times. Landing on Water's easily the lousier of the two. Re-Act-Or has a few pretty good songs on it. Opera Star rocked like hell when Neil and the Horse played it on the '86 Garage tour.

Back in the '70s, when I was in my teenage prog rock binge, I bought all the Yes solo albums that were released between Relayer and Going for the One. Some of those were pretty awful, but the worst of the bunch was Jon Anderson's Olias of Sunhillow. He tried to play all the instruments himself, even though he can't play any of 'em. That one and a solo album by Genesis' original guitarist Anthony Phillips, The Geese and the Ghost, would have to rate as the worst albums in my collection.

I must be the only person on the planet who likes this album. Or at least, there's probably some serial killer somewhere who also likes it, being deranged, and that's it. It can be lonely being a Stones fan.

I don't have any worst albums, because if I don't like 'em, I get rid of 'em.

One of the worst I own is Dylans Down in the groove....a stinker for real...
