again a riff is not as song... and i never heard bill say he wrote jjf... for the most part charlie, does his part by putting down the drum line...should he be given credits? same with bill.... jagger/richards are masters at using others for their music..but so was every other song writer..they hear an idea and go from there... jagger/richards were never sued and lost a case for stealing others music....p.s. poor brian, he may not have written the songs but without him many of the songs would have sucked big time.. so he should have been given credit......at least for making them great!

Bill himself said that the bass line for Miss You was created by Billy Preston. Bill just "polished it up".

OK but Bill wrote the riff to JJF. The riff is the song. It is a trademark riff. He does not get cred for this. Mick says Bill did the bassline on Miss you. He says its all him and Bill.

uh yes

but that was in 1959, not 1992

he developed a fear of flying during his last Stones tour. For most of the European leg, he commuted between shows by car.

Is that really why he left, seems a bit silly to all of a sudden be afraid to fly
after doing it for so long, cmon bill you have to do better than that

Listen to Uncle Gazza & myself.
People can develop fear of flying.

Yes, LA Forum, The Glimmer Twins have tricked & fooled & misused a lot of people during the years. That´s no secret. But whats the point bringing it up all the time... He made a contribution to JJF; but "wrote the riff"... ?
