I think picture depicts Ron Wood w/ Mom .. and she is drinking a Mountain Dew-

No harm in Pic. Why she is holding a stick - No clue. Maybe she is against smoking.

The great thing about Ronnie joining is that keith and the guys started genuinely smiling a lot more in the photographs. The moody posing was great in the earlier years at cementing the bad boy image, but would of got boring without ron's influence. He helped them grow old gracefuly...sort of

I recall seeing some sort of "Stones documentary" on youtube (or maybe it was some google e book?) where, after briefly mentioning the Mick Taylor years, their introduced Ronnie as (quote from memory) "well... so he wasnt the greatest but at least finally there was someone who could work in harmony with Keith".

The b&w pic is not from Barbarian tour though.
What I wonder: for the NB tour - did they conciously decide to wear all that red for the tour? The colors for the NB tour are very defined.

The Barbarians changed their frocks quite a lot, surprisingly.
Red isn't really a particularly predominant colour on the Barbarian tour as a whole -
just at some gigs you've seen a lot of photos from. :E

The shot steffiestones posted is from the 1975 tour and it's probably by Christopher Simon Sykes.

The Barbarians on a Lear jet that Come On posted is another one by Henry Diltz.

People, please please credit the photographers when you post their work. It's their work. They deserve credit.

No, it is an Original Annie leibovitz shot, stamp on the back.
