you can grab same spot on other side of catwAlk with GA but you'd have to queue up from very early and run further!

Finally have my tmobile sorted for the pics and audio stream, on my way, save a spot for me!

I've been to one or two music festivals in my day... While waiting for 6 or 7 hours, it's probably best not to focus on the extreme heat, poor planning, crowd, lack of good food, drink, comfortable seating, nearby easily accessible toilets, worry about weather, etc.

Just arrived and with my tier 3 ga ticket walked straight down within 20 rows of front. Very nice audience, quite young compared to seated shows. Tier 1 and 2 areas very quiet, presumably don't have the courtesy or interest to watch the support bans. Looking around where I am 60 percent of people under 30. I don't know who's playing now but they seem quite good.

Based on where I'm standing at the moment (on the catwalk barrier no more than 3 metres out from the stage) - I would have to say yes it was worth the price of the ticket. The Unwind Bar for £100 is taking the piss, but the Tier 1 area is OK. Basically, a centrally positioned catwalk projects out from the centre of the stage. Tier 1 is to the left of it, Tier 3 to the right of it. The least desirable area in my opinion is Tier 2, which is behind Tier 1 and offers no FOS position. The actual FRONT OF STAGE zone is equally split between Tiers 1 and 3 - split down the middle, Tier 2 doesn't have an actual FRONT OF STAGE coverage, it starts at the end of the catwalk - which is about 40 metres long. Of course... That's why i want the Stones to perform in huge venues. Cheaper tickets, younger audiences, more enthousiastic atmosphere. Ih addition, i think the band has a younger fan base in Europe, compared to USA. So, IMO the upcoming european tour's leg should include some more shows in big venues, like Horsens, or Letna Park, or, or, or... And maybe a few stadiums. In any case not only arenas, witch after all would mean a bigger number of gigs, consequently less breaks and "breaths" for the band.

Anyway, we'll see. For the time being, have a great time, all of you who will attend the Hyde Park #1. Lucky bastards...

Based on what I said in an earlier post, I'll just amend that slightly. Of the total "width" of the stage, I would say that Tier 1 has about 60 percent of it, the catwalk ramp takes up about a further 20 percent, and Tier 3 probably has a narrow strip of also not much more than 20 percent. Tier 2 is "set back" and is about 40 metres away from the stage. How "wide" it is I cannot really see in full, because I cannot see across the top of the catwalk from where I'm standing

I don't know, because I'm not there today. I will be there too at the 13th, also Tier 3. I'll dispense with the best place, because I don't want to wait over 8 hours on one single place before the show starts. As far as I can see it, it's not allowed to bring in own food/beverage, except 0.5 l water or similar.

Interestingly, on 6th and 13th July there is no re-entry once leaving the site, so bring everything that you need with you.
