Too Much Hand-Wringing Going On Here

Let's do a reality check, my friends. The hiatus between the end of the Licks Tour and the news of work on a new album and tour has produced a plethora of speculation, worry, doubt, angst and other counterproductive negativity.

It is pointless, but the cycle has continued for years. "Is this the last tour? Are they too old? Will the new album be any good? etc etc etc"

I'm not going to lose any sleep over any of it. We will be pleasantly surprised, as we were when the magnitude of the effort that went behind "Licks" was fully grasped. I approach the summer and fall with a feeling of anticipation, not trepidation, as far as the Stones are concerned. Between this and reveling in their unmatched legacy, and revisiting their history, I'll be celebrating their accomplishments, not wringing my hands over what the future may bring.

Of course, that's just my opinion...I could be wrong LOL.

Thank you, gentlemen, this is the IORR Congress I know and love.

One side: "We reject it!"
The other side: "We accept it!"

Just like a classic looney tunes cartoon, which I lifted the above lines from.
