Great. But I'm still waiting for 'The Complete Elvis Presley Box' to be released.

Nilssons 70ies LPs is very easy to find on vinyl...I got them all and they very intressting from that pop-era....'Spotlight on Nilsson' and 'Pandemonium Shadow Show' from 1966 and 1967 is harder to find....

OK, I'll buy that Nilsson box too as soon as it is for Sale.... for the unreleased numbers....

Now thats awesome. His albums are unfortunately not available everywhere, and at this Point he has deserved a box set. It'd be cool if they were also remastered, although just having a copy of all them is nice enough. I'll admit it'd be nice if they also released them separately, but the box set is a fair price and I definitely don't have enough that I could justify the purpose.

Not to thread crap here, but for those talking about Elvis, there is an Complete Masters box set out there. 30 cd's or something...

Seventeen?!? I got a 2 CD comp by HN , and it made me go get the actual albums; like 2 or 3 of'em. What is this 17 stuff?

This will be great, especially for us collectors. I have all his CDs, and I love Nilsson but I also admit not all his stuff shines. But hey, he always could fall on his voice, even on his hard knocks album Pussycats. This is a must have for me.

It was the album 'Pussycat' that opened it up for me....(blame it on Lennon).....

Yeah I think some of the stuff on Pussycats is brilliant. His version of Subterranean Homesick Blues is wickedly fun shit. Love it.

back on topic, 17 discs does sound like an awful lot though. I'm wild about Harry, but 17?

OK, actually reading the info in the link helps. So it's 14 studio albums that are expanded, and then 3 cd's of rarities.

So kind of sort of what the stones have done for exile/some girls, except with the entire catalogue, and at a relatively affordable price.
