Not a bad question. I don't because I've been to a few where I've sorta not remembered a whole lot about the show the next day. I mean, after all, Stones shows are a festive atmosphere. Not happy about it, but I've learned from my past mistakes. There's plenty of time to drink AFTER the show.

I didn't fire up at Staples. A couple beers seemed to go well with the set. That being said it was nice to be toked up for Ruby Tuesday, Paint It Black, and 2,000 Light Years From Home in '89.

Some young (early 20's) dudes beside me at the Beacon Theatre show for Shine a Light were lighting up spliffs like it was Bob Marley's Birthday (they were about three months early).
Before I knew it, I was the mayor of Cottonmouth city.
Champagne & Reefer soon sounded like a more reasonable drug policy.
Just say no . . .
To Cottonmouth

At a Vegas 40 Licks show, I sat next to a highway patrol cop and his wife, and he was putting away the beers. He told me, "I live not far outside Vegas, but I, of all people, can't get caught drinking and driving. So my wife and I booked a Vegas hotel room for tonight. That way I can get drunk and not drive. I'll just go up to my hotel room after the show." Words of wisdom. (He did get pretty toasted as the evening progressed, yelling at Mick with cupped hands, as though that would get Mick to turn and point and say, "Dude yelling with the cupped hands, you're awesome!" Didn't work.)

I saw the Stones at Wembley Stadium on the VL tour in 1995(ish), and speed (amphetemines) and weed were the order of the day, plus a few beers.
Now we´re all a little older...
So, do you still get loaded for the Stones show, or is it Viagra and Hot Chocolate?

Summer 1995 Wembley Stadium. I remember this very vividly.First time I had seen them - I was 23, plus my other favourite band were supporting them (Black Crowes). I had bought a single ticket when I arrived in London from Australia, and so I attended by myself. Got there early and queued up in the sun for 5 hours before the gates opened. I didn't have so much as a bottle of water- didn't want to lose my spot to go buy one. So I was extremely dehydrated. Eventually the gates opened I and was right up the front, and was as excited as I've ever been. The Black Crowes came on and about 2 songs in I pulled out a spliff(joint) that I had left over from Glastonbury and sparked it up. Keep in mind I hadn't a drink or any food for hours. I got very stoned very quickly. Started to think I was perhaps a bit too wasted, when all of a sudden my vision went blurry, and red - as if someone behind me had reached around with a sheet of red celophane paper and was holding it over my face. Then something happened with my ears - the music turned into a loud drone like a giant bee. Couldn't hear instruments, vocals, drums or anything, just a loud drone. All I could see were red outlines on the stage and felt myself passing out and thought I have to get out of here. Then I remembered I was in a crush up the front of 80000 people or what ever it was, and there was no way I could go anywhere in my condition. I was freaking out bigtime. But then I started to hear a voice in my head saying Cmon man you've been waiting for this your entire life and now you're gonna f*ck it all up!! And unbelievably I managed to talk myself out of it, 1st my vision slowly came back, then I could hear the music again and I started to feel ok, like I had just gone through an exorcism! I was sweating like a madman. Funny thing was when I came to I was standing by myself with about a metre space all around me - I must have been falling all over everyone, as even in the crush there was space all around me as people had been trying to get away from this slobbering wasted long hair! After that I was ok, but bl00dy thirsty. Enjoyed the gig after that!!

Leave drugs and alcohol to experience ppl. We're Stones fans after all, leave the strong stuff to Dead or QOTSA fans.

As much as possible.
I was lucky enough to have a hotel room within walking distance of 4 Bigger Bang shows.
I blew it out each time like I was in the contraband olympics. Amphetamines, xanax, Cali Kush, Vicodan, LSD, Heineken, Camel lights were all on the menu in Atlanta.
But, I've wised up and since quit smoking tobacco!
