Who's going to U2?

I saw them four years ago during their Elevation tour. Great show
And now they will come in again, here in Holland in The Amsterdam Arena. Famous for his bad acoustic. They come for probably 3 concerts.

I don't know if I'm going. There's a real run on U2 tickets.

Tickets are here about €70

Never. I'd rather listen to my grandmother singing Satisfaction.

I got the offer from one of my friends that she could buy a ticket for me. I passed. I never really liked U2. But I'm glad that some of you actually got tickets. smiling smiley

I am going to the U2 show in Oslo of course. The 40,000 tickets sold out this morning. Big ticket chaos when the servers went down and scalpers now have an uplift from face value of $100 into $400. Still, U2 are great, and I try to see them on every tour.

I'm going. Brussels, opening night.
Sold out in a few hours. Impossible for most fans to get through. A lot of tickets were bought by people who are now selling them on ebay for about 500 euros for a ticket.

But I got one from one of my friends that actually could order.

A friend of me bought tickets. €70 for a ticket. All three concerts sold out in 1,5 hours.

And I think people are going to make big profit it by selling it for a couple of hundreds of euro's.

going to Glasgow. And apparently shagging GiantWhore when I'm there, so she informs me.

I skipped Dublin as I knew the frenzy for tickets would be insane. They sold 160,000 tickets (3% of the population of all of Ireland) in 50 minutes.

Tickets for Vancouver, their only Canadian show so far, went on sale yesterday morning and the first show sold out within minutes. A second show went on sale and that show sold out quickly, too. Depending on what their stage set up looks like and if there's still seating behind the stage, 30-40,000 tickets were sold.
I saw a newscast of people lined up at the main Ticketmaster outlet downtown Vancouver. They were given numbers and whoever's number was drawn, that person would be first in line, then the next number after his would be second, etc. First show was sold out by the time the fourth person got to the front I believe. Your chances of getting tickets are better if you go on line or try calling in. Since all Ticketmasters are linked, you can call a Ticketmaster in another city and get tickets.

U2 is one of the most overrated bands ever.

Yep, Gazza is shagging me in Glasgow! Might not even make it to the show if he wears those Bonoesque sunglasses...

On Saturday I bought 6 seats together for $95.00 each for the show in Seattle on April 25. I went online and could not get any for the first show. Meanwhile my daughter was on the phone with Ticketmaster trying to get through. She finally got through and while on the phone, the second show went on sale. So we were lucky to get them. The first show sold out in about 15 minutes!!
