You don't, because that's not what he said.

People tell us what's good or not - as if it's a fact and not their opinion. Of course every statement of that kind ought to include IMO or IMHO - but that would get so boring that we don't do it very often. Anyway, in my experience, any post that starts with In My HUMBLE Opinion is going to include judgments of quite breathtaking arrogance.

IMO. Just sayin'

While it is just a message board, it amazes me how some people use that as an excuse to be incredibly rude and demeaning to fellow posters. BV had something about that earlier, how people use the anonymity to behave in ways they would never do in real life.

Nothing wrong with disagreements, we all have our own favorite tracks, albums, and, in some cases, band members. There is also nothing wrong with irony and sarcasm, as long as it's done with good humor and some self awareness that you're full of it yourself sometimes. We all like to have fun here...well most of us.

I'm gonna get off my soapbox now, and just say play nice everyone, and if you can't do that remember, there's no reason to be an @#$%& all the time.

Who are these people daring to tell us what is good or not then? Names please, I'm curious. Perhaps I'm one of those idiots without even knowing it?

Some people like albums/tracks that other people may not. It doesn't matter. If you don't like an album, you listen to something else. Those who like something you don't - It 's their preference, they're listening to the Stones so have/every right to state their viewpoint here. And considering the volume of work The Stones have released, it's inevitable that preferences differ.

I don't think anyone has suggested that people don't have a right to stating their preference, minorbyrd. It would be really boring around here if everyone just agreed. It's the way it's done sometimes...
