I think DC5 were a amazing pop band. I got some nice video of them from Ed Sullivan show and tv music shows from 60's.

I've just searched for the DC5 on my iPod, but I must have neglected to include their best-of which I own. I'll whack it on when I get home. I can him Glad All Over in my head, but don't recollect anything else. Glad All Over is decent enough, but struggle to think of anything else bring particularly memorable. I know it shouldn't matter - in hindsight, it really shouldn't! - but they looked a little goofy.
if i'm going for goofy-looking, i go for freddie & the dreamers

The Sullivan performances would be great to see/hear on an official release. I have a massive 9 DVD set of Sullivan musical performances and there isn't one Dave Clark Five clip. I can't see there being much commercial viability to a Dave Clark Five Sullivan collection, but you'd think Dave Clark would let something be released. It's incomprehensible. It's not like he's making money from his own material. You'd think he'd want somebody to see this stuff. If I'm not mistaken, his band appeared on Sullivan more than any other group. Is he ashamed of the group? No interviews, nothing. Odd.

My dvd of Ed Sullivan show is a compilation of various bands and yes it does have a few on by DC5. I wish Dave would release a dvd of live stuff.
