Hi Sway, sorry to take so long to reply but I have not been here for quite awhile. It was feb 65 in Perth West Australia. It changed my whole life as you well know. You will have mail next week. Cheers.

Saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Does that count?

Planned to go with some school mates to Kingston Granada February 1964 but a couple of us not allowed to go by mum. None of my mates went in the end. confused smiley
Do remember all the live performances on shows like Ready Steady Go (where they were regulars)and The NME Concerts.Great days. smiling smiley

First time I saw them wasn't until The Steel Wheels Tour at Wembley Stadium many, many years later. confused smiley

Funny that you should mention their first Ed Sullivan Show appearance. I was in the studio audience for the afternoon rehearsal. I snuck in once again, as usual. After they performed, I left my second row seat and went downstairs to the gents. The theater canteen was right next door. Four Stones were inside, minus Brian. I had the courage to pat Keith on the back. He turned around, looked down and said, "Hi, kid." Made my day. Oh yeah, Bill Wyman was munching on a dill pickle and drinking a Diet Pepsi. A few days later they were in Santa Monica doing the TAMI show.
