Rolling Stones Shirts At Kohl's

Has anyone bought any yet? I bought the GRRR! shirt yesterday. I'm getting a Kohl's gift card for Christmas and plan on buying the rest of the shirts they had displayed. I really like the 3/4 sleeve one that says It's Only Rock 'N' Roll.

Not to be a Debbie-downer but I was at Kohl's two weeks ago and checked the Stones shirts (the store in Memphis didn't have the GRRR just the U.S. tongues). I have to say the quality was not good. It was extremely thin cotton. I have three Stones shirts from my record store and they are much thicker - albeit more expensive. Guess you get what you pay for. But the thin cotton is probably really comfortable - just don't wash in hot water or put in the dryer. smoking smiley

Yeah, I got the '78 tour replica. Was only like $14. Disappointed it's an iron on rather than a screen print. I must say the official T I bought at the London show is primo quality.

Local dealers will almost always be more respectable.
The Stones shirts I have bought from their own website are utter crap.
The thinnest cotton I own. At these prices Kohl's probably aren't much better...but at least the pricing reflects that unlike the ridiculous RS.com

have to agree with munichhilton. compared to the shirts I bought on various stones tours, the shirts from stonesarchive are low quality.
they shouldnt be surprised if people will make their own shirts instead.

I was just at Kohl's and got myself a GRRR! t-shirt for $14.00. They have a nice display in the young men's section, nothing separate for girls, so I got a small. It fits OK, wish they had extra small, but for the price, I'm not complaining. The cotton is thin, but very soft, so I like it just fine.

Are you planning to sell the shirt? Or is it for personal consumption only? I might be interested! smoking smiley

p.s. Last year for XMAS, my daughter gave me an original 1972 t-shirt she found in a thrift shop - it's gold with small tongues. It's great quality - especially considering its age. The tongues are a bit worn out but the fabric still holds up. Also, a friend of mine gave me a Stones army jacket for my b-day. She originally got it from the Bigger Bang show. It's official gear & I have to say the quality is outstanding - plus it's just a really cool coat. Nice design with a large white tongue on the back, a small tongue on the front left side and a 2006 tongue patch on the sleeve. Wish I was going to the show next week so I could wear it! Well tomorrow is the raffle draw - maybe I'll win...dreams are free! smoking smiley

Cool! The Casino Boogie has the ORIGINAL TONGUES on everything! How come none of the shirts do? I wish they did.

Magically the 1978 Stones NY t-shirt doesn't have Bill Wyman in it. Huh.

Are the prices the same in the store as they are on line?

From what I see online, they are a bit cheaper at the store (especially if you have a coupon or get it on a sale-day). However, the store in Memphis didn't have anywhere near the selection. Happy shopping!smoking smiley

The day before I left for Australia, I bought a Rolling Stones shirt at my local Kohl's. Not GRRR, but Rolling Stones 94/95 Voodoo Lounge Tour 1/2 sleeve jersey.
T-shirts in the Rolling Stones section of the Australia Target stores are twice as expensive...
...but perhaps the bigger question is, what the heck am I doing spending any time in a Target while in Australia?

I had to return this because I'd walked down the street and everyone would try to dance with me. It made me late for my appointments:

I went to Kohls today and they didn't have that shirt.

I bought 2 of them both made in Mexico, nothing wrong w/ that I guess...
