Hey xke38, the guitar pictured with the very young Mick Taylor is the Keef Burst. The Burst Mick had before had no Bigsby and was stolen some time in mid-1967 if I remeber rightly. Mick accquired the Keef Burst in the fall of 1967. This pic looks to be from that time...

Wow! Really? The only Burst I thought Mick had before the Keef Burst was a Bigsby-less one. I based the statement in my previous post from Mick's January 1980 (as I recall) Guitar Player mag interview. There is a pic of Mick in the gatefold of a John Mayll album ('Looking Back', I think) that shows him with a Les Paul with no Bigsby that I thought was from the 'Crusade' period. Did I have the date wrong from when Mick got the Bigsby Burst or did Mick have another Bigsby Burst? In either case the photos are great! I have never seen many of these so I'm knocked out!
