Before STP, private planes and five star hotels, The Rolling Stones had to tour US using others forms of transportations. I'm especially interested how did they tour during their first and second US tour in 1964. The first tour was between 5-20 June and they played in California, Texas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Michigan, Pensylvania and New York. Did they travel to shows by plane, by train or by car? In October/November 64 they visited even more places in similar period. Did they use commercial flights to move across the States?

It was a package tour so I'd imagine going by the vast distances between some cities they'd have flown with the rest of the acts, but would have used a tour bus for the shorter commutes.
