Kenny Wayne Shepherd would be an excellent guest star with the Rolling Stones!

The Spider and the Fly - Kenny Wayne Shepherd featuring James Cotton

Ask Kenny Wayne about his “homecoming “ show in Shreveport when
Dr. John walked into the dressing room that night he started laughing…
didn’t they know what they were doing when they booked Cotton?

James proceeded to steal the show…he came out like Abdullah the Butcher…Kenny
Wayne ended up rolling around on the floor to try and regain his mojo and look
like he was “jamming’”….Kenny’s father Never made that mistake again!

Music From The Motion Picture "Michael"

Drums: Chris Layton
Vocals: Corey Sterling
Producer: David Z.
Rhythm Guitar: Jack Holder
Featured Harmonica: James Cotton
Lead Guitar: Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Keyboards: Reese Wynans
Mixer: Tom Lord-Alge
Bass: Tommy Shannon

I didn't realize Kenny Wayne was a support act on the B2B tour. Thanks!

Awards Nomination Rescinded Over Confederate Flag Imagery

THE BLUES FOUNDATION has rescinded Kenny Wayne Shepherd‘s 2021
Blues Music Awards nomination for Best Blues/Rock Artist. According to a
statement from the organization, the decision was made over Confederate flag
imagery displayed on Shepherd’s The Dukes of Hazzard “General Lee” car replica,
and on “guitars and elsewhere.”

The car was built 17 years ago as a replica and homage to the iconic car in the
television series, The Dukes of Hazzard. That CBS show was one of the highest-
rated and most popular programs of its era and like millions of others, I
watched it every week,” Shepherd said. “In the show, one of the central
‘characters’ was a muscle car which displayed a confederate flag on its roof.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band - "Shame, Shame, Shame" Montreux 2019 LINK: [www.youtube.com]
"Shame, Shame, Shame" - Live. This 2019 "live" version of one of the first
songs written by Kenny at age 15 along with Joe Nadeau. "Shame, Shame, Shame"
was released on Kenny's album, Ledbetter Heights which was released in 1995.

Wow... an incredible solo from one of the very best blues guitarists of all
time. What I love is the variation as it never loses its interest even after 3
minutes as some players seem to reach that point where it tails off.

I’m just saying it’s been talk d about already. 4 pages worth BV has stated many times not to start a new thread on the same topic
