I'm figuring there are a few Buddy fans here and I just wanted to share this really good release from Roller Coaster Records (not a bootleg). They have removed the (often cheesy) background vocals from this great album and it's very cool to hear the tracks the way Buddy and his band likely intended. I have no interest in Rollercoaster Records, just trying to get the word out. A lot of work
went into this project and there is a great booklet included with info track by track given by Jerry Allison before he passed away.

The Beatles might have made a jump from I Wanna Hold Your Hand to A Day In The Life. But Buddy’s jump from his early material to a song like True Love Ways is amazing. At just 22. Tragic loss. This new release will be interesting.
